125th anniversary
of Picasso’s birth.

Picasso was born on 25 October 1881 in a nineteenth-century building on the Plaza de la Merced. A wide range of exhibitions focusing on the painter, a number of publications about his life and work, artistic seminars, screenings and other complementary events form the basis of a busy autumn of culture in Malaga. It is also a magnificent opportunity to visit the places where a boy named Pablo was to become the most influential artist of the 20th century.
