In 2007 Malaga’s film fest celebrates its tenth anniversary, and the organisers have taken every effort to ensure the event goes off with a bang. One piece of advance news we can reveal is the title of the film given the honour of opening the event: ‘Lola’, the ambitious feature-length look at the life of legendary singer Lola Flores. It has also been announced that Carmen Maura will be receiving the Malaga Award in recognition of her professional career. The poster for this year’s festival has been designed by locally born fashion designer David Delfín.
