The Els Joglars company add their voice to the fourth centenary of Don Quixote with the worthy intention of uncovering certain features of his authentic character, taking on in unequal battle the fraudulent obsession which characterises the artistic moment. Albert Boadella’s troupe feel tied to the Cervantine portrait of reality, fiction, madness and reason. On stage they paradoxically present fictitious actions, while often succeeding in arousing authentic emotions, much more intense even than reality itself.
