50 ways to see the Costa del Sol.

You have before you the 50th edition of our publication, a magazine which, issue by issue, has excelled in offering visitors to our shores complete information about the Costa del Sol, suggesting intriguing attractions which have never failed to capture the interest of those looking through its pages. The care and attention which the editorial team put into their work can be seen on every page,
in the quality of printing, the design, the photography and the articles which have made this the foremost tourist publication for the Costa del Sol. What is more, this coming November the magazine will be celebrating its tenth anniversary, quite some record when one considers the competition which exists in the sector.

And since we’re on the subject of notable dates,November also sees the 30th anniversary of the foundation of AEHCOS, the Hotel and Catering Business Association of the Costa del Sol, established back in 1977. To mark
our third decade, we have launched the 1st AEHCOS Awards, with which the association aims to acknowledge years of professional service and commitment to our visitors and to the Costa del Sol as a destination.

But casting our gaze over those thirty years, apart from the fact that back then we all had a more or less decent head of hair, our dedication to the Costa del Sol is one thing which remains unchanged. Over the course of all of this time we have seen regular peaks and troughs, with more or less technology, more tourists or fewer, more resources or not so many... but the strange thing is that our concerns remain the same. Not become they have not been voiced in the right arenas, but because our suggestions have never been taken on board. And we believe it is better to get involved with problems, rather than to get worried about them. However, it must be a source of satisfaction to us that we continue to be one of the most highly rated tourist destinations anywhere on the planet.
