Report: Málaga, Museum City

Málaga, Museum City

Malaga is a veritable City of Museums. The historic centre alone houses more than a score of institutions offering something for every interest, from religious paintings to the most contemporary art, without overlooking, of course, the figure of Picasso, represented in the shape of his Birthplace Museum and the Malaga Picasso Museum. Forthcoming additions to this wide range of attractions include the Wine and Flamenco Museums, to be followed shortly by such valuable collections as the Carmen Thyssen-Bornemisza Gallery, the Cinema Museum and a centre dedicated to the paintings of Félix Revello de Toro.
